Staqd exists because AI coding tools default to generic design — and they don't have to.
Ask an AI tool for a dashboard and you get the same rounded-corner, gray-on-white mush everyone else gets. The model isn't the problem — the brief is. Give the same model a real design system — exact tokens, a type scale, spacing rules, component patterns, motion, accessibility constraints — and it builds like a designer was in the room.
That brief is what a skill is. Staqd is a marketplace for them: an open catalog where anyone can publish and sell skills for their AI, seeded by our own 67 original design-system skills. Each one is an opinionated spec (a SKILL.md file) you install into Claude, Cursor, or Codex, and each ships with a real, hosted demo page built in that skill's own style — so you can see exactly what your AI will aim for before you install it.

Every first-party skill and demo is our own work — we study the great public design languages, we never copy anyone's product.
Honest gating
Free skills are fully open — copy, download, install. Paid content simply isn't shipped to your browser until you own it; no blurred teasers pretending otherwise.
A fair split
Sellers keep 85% of every sale, and they keep the rights to what they publish — listing here grants buyers a non-exclusive license, nothing more.
